Face ID or fingerprint required on every open. A five-minute grace period means no friction when you're mid-flow.

Voice Logging

"Spent $14 at the coffee shop." TPO extracts the transaction without retaining microphone audio. Your operating-system speech service handles recognition.

Guardian AI

A financial assistant that runs on-device by default. Optional AI-Enhanced answers require your provider credentials and explicit approval.

Backup & Export Controls

Create an encrypted iCloud backup, a password-encrypted portable export, or a local ZIP whose account and transaction CSVs are readable without a password.

Privacy Audit Trail

Every sensitive operation — import, export, integration — is logged locally. You always know exactly what happened and when.

Budgets & Recurring

Set budgets per category, automate recurring transactions, and let the rules engine handle categorization — all offline.

Investments & Net Worth

No TPO account required

Use the app without a TPO Budget login, email address, or phone number. Optional Plaid sync registers the installation with our gateway.

No ads or behavioral analytics

No advertising or third-party analytics SDK. The app checks Expo for updates automatically; other connected services are optional.

Connected features are controlled

Bank sync, cloud AI, voice synthesis, backups, Household Sync, and market pricing have clear controls and disclosures.

Portable data

Export selected records to CSV or create a password-encrypted portable export. You choose where exported files go.
